Power Supply Fault Troubleshooting
Check Power Connection
Ensure the device’s power cable is firmly connected to the motorcycle’s power harness, with no looseness or poor contact.
Inspect the plug and socket contacts for dirt, corrosion, or deformation. If necessary, clean with contact cleaner and reconnect securely.
Check Battery Voltage
Use a multimeter to measure the motorcycle battery voltage, ensuring it is above 12V at rest and not below 10V when starting.
If the voltage is low, charge the battery or replace it if it is aged.
Inspect Power Cable and Fuse
Check for damage, crushing, or wear on the power cable.
Inspect the fuse in the power circuit; if blown, replace it with the same specification (amp rating and size).
Confirm Power Supply Stability
If using a cigarette lighter or power converter, ensure it outputs normally without overheating or intermittent power loss.
Avoid powering multiple high-consumption devices at the same time to prevent insufficient supply.
Check Internal Device Issues
If all the above are normal but the device still fails to start or cuts off intermittently, the internal power management module or circuit board may be faulty.
Stop using the device and contact after-sales for inspection or part replacement.
